Compare POP UP PARADE Yuzu (Maid) and Machi on price, display size, and character appeal to decide which figure earns shelf space.
Quick answer
Choose POP UP PARADE Yuzu (Maid) if you want a Blue Archive centerpiece with a maid theme and don't mind paying more. Pick POP UP PARADE Machi if you're a HUNTER x HUNTER fan on a tighter budget or need a figure that ships sooner.
Price and release speed: the real trade-off
The Yuzu (Maid) figure is priced higher than Machi, which buys you a more elaborate maid outfit and a specific Blue Archive character moment. Machi sits at a lower price point and belongs to a line built for speedy releases, so it's easier to add to a growing collection without waiting long.
If budget is fixed, Machi leaves room for a second figure later. If you're decorating around Blue Archive, Yuzu's higher cost is the price of matching your existing display theme.
Display size and shelf fit
Both figures come from POP UP PARADE, a series designed for easy display at affordable sizes. That means neither should demand a deep shelf or a custom riser, but exact dimensions aren't supplied for either figure, so check the product page before you plan a tight bookshelf gap.
Yuzu's maid outfit may include more visual detail than Machi's design, which can make her read as busier from a distance. Machi's simpler silhouette can sit more comfortably beside other HUNTER x HUNTER figures without competing for attention.
Character appeal and collection fit
Yuzu (Maid) is a Blue Archive figure with design by YutokaMizu, so it slots naturally into a Blue Archive shelf or a maid-themed display. Machi comes from HUNTER x HUNTER and fits a shonen or HUNTER x HUNTER lineup.
Neither figure is a scale statue, so don't expect the presence of a 1/7 scale piece. They're meant to be collected in groups, which makes matching your existing shelf theme more important than chasing a single showpiece.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Price vs. character priority: Yuzu (Maid) costs more than Machi. Decide whether a Blue Archive maid figure is worth the premium over a lower-cost HUNTER x HUNTER pick. Set a per-figure budget before comparing, not after.
- Release speed vs. theme match: Machi comes from a line built for speedy releases, while Yuzu is a specific Blue Archive design. If you need a figure soon, Machi is the faster route; if your shelf is Blue Archive, Yuzu is the thematic match.
- Visual detail vs. simple silhouette: Yuzu's maid outfit adds detail that can stand out on a shelf, while Machi's design is easier to group with other HUNTER x HUNTER figures. Pick based on whether you want a focal point or a team player. Measure your shelf gap before ordering either figure.
